Sales and marketing leadership

Greenlight is a leading independent specialist digital agency and commerce systems integrator.

My role was to develop our value proposition and drive our client engagement strategy, building visibility and strong relationships with businesses, and generate an imminent desire within them to discuss their digital marketing and commerce requirements with us.

I took a leadership role in the development of all new client digital marketing and commerce strategy at pre sales proposal stage, designing and rolling out Paid Media, Organic Search, Tracking and Attribution, and multi-channel Commerce design and build.

To support this I built a business case for the creation of a best practice CRM management function using Salesforce as the backbone. This led to me developing, with the appointed CRM Manager, a process flow within Salesforce, delivering a desktop, mobile and tablet enabled reporting suite, which allowed complete performance transparency.

This approach led to my teams winning some great clients such as BSkyB, HSBC, Thomas Cook, Next, Guardian Media Group, Dixons Retail, Simplyhealth, Maplin, Hibu, Vertu and LV= to name just a few.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • team leadership, motivation and development,
  • Implementation of our sales and marketing strategy,
  • the allocation and management of sales and marketing budgets,
  • meeting teams and personal lead generation, opportunity, and sales targets (full pipeline)
  • commercial negotiation.
